Valkyria Chronicles: Gallian Chronicles, serialized by Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace, is the second manga adaptation of Valkyria Chronicles. The manga was illustrated by En Kito. Similar to the anime, it is a loose adaptation of the original video game, with some story details diverging from the source material. It was serialized by Kadokawa Shoten from November 26, 2008 to March 26, 2010 in Comp Ace magazine and later compiled in four volumes.

Plot

In an alternate Earth, the armies of the Imperial Alliance have ravaged the entire European continent in 1935 CE during the Second European War. In the middle of the war, the army invades Gallian territory to acquire a mineral known as Ragnite. Standing in their way is a recently drafted militia officer named Welkin Gunther, son of known Europan War hero, Belgen Gunther.
