A new poll by Operation Rainfall could lead to the localization of Valkyria Chronicles III.
Operation Rainfall is known for having some success at getting Japanese games translated to English, among those, according to Sega Addicts, Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower.
At the present, other games competing against it include Yakuza 5, a Yakuza HD remake, and Shining Hearts. While at the time of posting Valkyria Chronicles dominates the later two, Yakuza 5 leads VCIII by an 8% margin.
Operation Rainfall has also partnered up with Language Automation Inc (LAI), a company that specializes in games. LAI will likely offer a discount on localization for any that might be pitched.
Note that even if Valkyria Chronicles III doesn't win the vote, it may still be pitched. Likewise, even if VCIII wins, it still might not be localized.
However, for Valkyria Chronicles III, Op Rainfall might be its best hope for export..
