To Live Unbound is the squad story focused on Scott, Norid, and Azusa. A Great Escape is the combat mission for the squad story. The earliest this can be available is by Chapter 9: The Winter Witch, when Azusa is recruited.

Topography[]
This map takes place on the same one as in Chapter 8: The Crystal Sea. Some difference include additional watchtowers, nighttime, and the SE portion of the map no longer accessible.
Scott, Norid, and Azusa start in the NE corner of the map and must make their way SW, eliminating all Imperial units they come across. There are no camps in this mission.

"Recon has found a number of enemy troops in a village by the Crystal Sea. Squad E is going to break up in to teams and eliminate all hostile units."
Location: Village
Description: Sniff out the Imperial soldiers hiding in the village and eliminate them. Visibility is poor at night, and the mission ends in failure if Azusa, Norid, or Scott die.
"You're cleared for deployment, Squad E. May the odds be in your favor."
