The following is the timeline of major events in the Valkyria Chronicles series, starting from the Darcsen Calamity up until the Gallian Civil War.

0 EC	The Darcsens are subdued and Europa is conquered by the Valkyrur.
circa 200s EC	The nation of Gallia is formed as Castle Randgriz is built and begins to rule surrounding areas.
circa 1500s EC	House Gassenarl battles House Randgriz over control of Gallia, but fails due to the latter having popular support.
circa 1720 EC	Lanseal Royal Military Academy is established.
late 1700s EC	The Industrial Revolution occurs. The East Europan Imperial Alliance is formed as east Europan nations join together in a formal international alliance. Popular uprisings due to the Industrial Revolution lead to the birth of several democratic republics. With the Empire representing a common threat, a mutual defense agreement is agreed upon by these republics, forming the Atlantic Federation.
circa 1800s EC	The Empire invades Gallia and the king renounces his crown, ruling over Gallia as an archduke of an autonomous region of the Empire. The War of Gallian Independence. The archduke pushes for freedom from the Empire and succeeds, creating the Principality of Gallia. Neutrality is declared and a system of universal conscription is established.
early 1900s EC	The crown prince of the Empire is assassinated, sparking the First Europan War. The Kingdom of Fhirald is conquered by the Empire.
circa 1915 EC	End of the First Europan War.
circa 1923 EC	The Miller Company in Hafen burns down, and a detachment of Imperial soldiers is spotted leaving the scene. A young Riley Miller and Claude Wallace witness the fire, watching as Riley loses her father, sister, and mother.
circa 1930 EC	The Empire attempts to pressure Gallia into joining, but fails.
1931 EC	Imperial artillery shells land in Hafen, causing fires and killing many. The Gallian government's lackluster response causes many to enlist with the Federation's army.
1933 EC	Crymaria is tested by Selvaria at the Siegval Line to determine the strength of her Valkyria powers.
May, 1934 EC	Squad E is formed, with Claude Wallace as its commanding officer.
December, 1934 EC	Sergeant Major Kai Schulen deserts from Squad E and has his sister take his place.
circa January 1935 EC	The East Europan Imperial Alliance invades Atlantic Federation territory, igniting the Second Europan War. The Imperial army manage to takeover 1/3 of Federation territory in the Eastern Theatre. Start of Valkyria Chronicles 4.
March 2, 1935 EC	Three months into the Second Europan War, having lost 30% of their territory to the Empire, the Atlantic Federation launches Operation Northern Cross, in attempt to end the Second Europan War by capturing the Imperial capital, Schwartzgrad.
March 15, 1935 EC	The East Europan Imperial Alliance begins its invasion of the Principality of Gallia, starting with the small border town Bruhl and the border fortress Ghirlandaio, in order to gain access to its vast riches of Ragnite. Alicia Melchiott and Welkin Gunther help lead the Bruhl town watch to repel the Imperial scouting force as the town's civilians evacuate. Bruhl falls by the end of the day. Start of Valkyria Chronicles. Fort Krest is captured by the Federation through the efforts of Squad E.
April 3, 1935 EC	Kurt Irving is transferred into Squad 422.
April 5, 1935 EC	The Empire occupies Vasel.
April 14, 1935 EC	Operation Cloudburst is successful and Gallia retakes the Great Vasel Bridge.
Mid April, 1935 EC	Aslone is recaptured by Gallia.
April 20, 1935 EC	Fouzen, a key industrial city in northern Gallia, is captured by the Empire.
May, 1935 EC	The Federation's establishes Lindbergh Base in Imperial territory near the town of Reine to help establish supply lines to troops participating in Operation Northern Cross. Squad E participates in an operation to discover and neutralize Imperial tanks in Reine and liberate the town.
Mid May, 1935 EC	The Nameless is tasked with escorting Gennaro Borgia to Imperial territory. They are engaged by Imperial forces from Breeden, and a Calamity Raven ambush results in his capture.
Late May, 1935 EC	Squad 7 captures an Imperial supply depot in the Kloden Wildwood, despite interference from General Radi Jeager. The Nameless helps in recapturing Yuell. They also defend Mellvere against a Calamity Raven incursion led by the Echidna.
Early June, 1935 EC	The Nameless infiltrates Imperial territory to destroy a supply depot near the border.
Mid June, 1935 EC	Gallian forces destroy the Batomys and Maximilian is forced to retreat from the Barious Desert.
July, 1935 EC	After liberating the town of Reine while waiting for a critical bridge to be repaired, Squad E was summoned to Gallia by Ambassador Townsend to conduct a joint training exercise with Squad 7 of the Gallian Militia to help foster improved relations between the Federation and Gallia.
Mid July, 1935 EC	The Nameless assists the Gallian Militia in Operation Roar of the Mountain. The Nameless aids refugees from Borger, but a group of Darcsen refugees are massacred by Imperial forces after the Gallian Army deems it too risky to rescue them. The Nameless attempts to assassinate Prince Maximilian, but fails.
July 14, 1935 EC	Gallia breaks through the Norville defensive line after months of deadlock.
Late July, 1935 EC	Squad E engages in a nocturnal reconnaissance mission near Lindbergh Base, whereupon Raz insists on ambushing Imperial soldiers retreating to the Siegval Line. The Nameless joins Gallian Army units in an attempt to retake northern Gallia, but Gusurg's defection results in their defeat. The Nameless is ordered to the Barious Desert to assist allied units, but are ambushed by allies upon arrival. They escape and are officially labelled as a rebel squad.
July 23, 1935 EC	The "July/Midsummer Incident" occurs, where the Federation secretly attempts to abduct Princess Cordelia to take control of Gallia. The attempt is foiled by Squad 7.
July 28, 1935 EC	Welkin is awarded the Gallian Medal of Honor.
Early August, 1935 EC	The Nameless repels Calamity Raven's attack on Randgriz.
August 10, 1935 EC	Gallia recaptures Fouzen, Dieseehl, and Janluc. General Berthold Gregor is killed during the operation to retake Fouzen.
August 23, 1935 EC	Squad 7 attacks an Imperial encampment along the Marberry Shore as part of Operation White Steed. Isara Gunther is killed in action during the operation.
September 2 - 7, 1935 EC	The Battle of Siegval. Imperial forces retreat from the Siegval Line, after Squad E leads the Atlantic Federation to several victories at the former border fortifications.
September 13, 1935 EC	The Gallian Militia recaptures Bruhl.
September 20 - 28, 1935 EC	Battle of the Naggiar Plains. Gallia emerges victorious, but suffers significant casualties.
October 1935 EC	The Atlantic Federation liberates the town of Einhemt without much resistance from the Empire.
Early October, 1935 EC	The Nameless continues to aid Gallian forces in secret and rescues an army unit in Borger. Ramsey Crowe exposes Carl Eisler's treachery and the Nameless is no longer considered a rebel squad. The first snowfall arrives in the Empire.
October 6, 1935 EC	Imca infiltrates Ghirlandaio and duels Selvaria, but is defeated.
October 7, 1935 EC	Gallia reclaims the citadel at Ghirlandaio and captures Selvaria Bles.
October 8, 1935 EC	Selvaria unleashes the Final Flame, destroying the citadel of Ghirlandaio and annihilating Gallia's main army. The Marmota breaks through the Kloden Wildwood. Operation Maiden's Shield fails. The Empire recaptures Vasel. The Empire announces its intent to drive out Federation forces occupying Imperial territory. Imperial units begin mobilizing in the western regions of the Empire.
October 9, 1935 EC	The Gallian Militia breaks through General Jaeger's defenses at Vasel.
October 10, 1935 EC	Squad 7 defeats and kills Maximilian, bringing the Imperial invasion of Gallia to an end. The Nameless stops Gusurg's plan of destroying Randgriz.
Mid October, 1935 EC	The Empire launches a counterattack, routing a significant number of Federation troops. Einhemt is recaptured by the Empire. Lindbergh Base is overrun and abandoned.
October 19, 1935 EC	The Empire announces its success in routing a large portion of the occupying Federation forces.
October 25, 1935 EC	An armistice is signed between Gallia and the Empire. Cordelia confesses her Darcsen heritage to the public. The Nameless is disbanded.
October 31, 1935 EC	Cordelia becomes the archduchess of Gallia.
Winter, 1935-6 EC	Squad E raids an Imperial supply base before rendezvous with the rest of the 32nd Armored Ranger Corps, though the latter suffers heavy casualties from an Ausbruch ambush, especially Squads D and F. Rumors of a "ghost ship" moving through ice appear from coastal civilians and journalists. The Centurion breaks through the Imperial defenses of Fort Garsbruck. Squad E raids Port Kosvall, stealing military supplies for the Centurion. The Federation and the Empire sign a ceasefire before Claude Wallace could destroy Schwartzgrad with an A-2 bomb. This leads to a weary peace treaty, with deaths numbering ten million.
December, 1935 EC	Terrorist activities targeting Darcsens in Gallia begin. This continues until the Gallian Revolutionary Army is officially formed in 1936.
April 24, 1936 EC	Southern Gallia is plagued with terrorist activity by an organized group of anti-Darcsen activists.
May, 1936 EC	Lanseal Royal Military Academy is tasked with maintaining peace in southern Gallia.
June, 1936 EC	Lanseal Royal Military Academy begins taking counter-terrorism measures.
September, 1936 EC	Gilbert Gassenarl forms the Gallian Revolutionary Army. They quickly gain control of much of southern Gallia.
November, 1936 EC	Lanseal's "Special Mission" ends in failure.
January, 1937 EC	Avan Hardins receives news from Hubert Brixham that his brother, Leon Hardins, had passed away. The cause of his death could not be disclosed due to national security. Minutes later, rebels from the Gallian Revolutionary Army attack the village of Mellvere. Start of Valkyria Chronicles 2. In their first deployment, Glass G liberates the town of Arlem from rebel occupation.
March, 1937 EC	The GRA restates their intentions and demands Cordelia step down.
May, 1937 EC	GRA forces nearly wipe out the Darcsens settled in the Diebal Mountains.
June, 1937 EC	The GRA launches an offensive into central Gallia, targeting Yuell and Mellvere.
July, 1937 EC	Loyalist forces with the help of Class G fend off the GRA attack on Yuell. Though Mellvere is captured, the GRA there would also retreat to the south.
August, 1937 EC	The GRA launches an attack on Lanseal during the Feast of All Spirits and effectively cripples the academy's ability to respond militarily. Taking advantage of this, the rebels launch another offensive to the north.
August 22, 1937 EC	Randgriz and Archduchess Cordelia is captured by the GRA.
September 14, 1937 EC	Baldren Gassenarl kills his father and assumes command of the GRA.
November 7 - 10, 1937 EC	The Gallian Army launches Operation Alabaster Gale and successfully recaptures Randgriz.
Mid-November, 1937 EC	The main rebel force retreats to Anthold.
December 20, 1937 EC	Class G defeats and kills Baldren Gassenarl.
December 21, 1937 EC	Archduchess Cordelia di Randgriz calls for an immediate surrender of all remaining rebel forces, bringing the Gallian Civil War to an end.
