The Dream Team is the second challenge skirmish of Valkyria Chronicles 4. This uses the same map as Chapter 15: A Reason to Fight, Part 1. It is unlocked after all hard skirmishes have been completed.

Location: Breaking Ice Shelf
Description: Walz and Crymaria have joined forces and are on the attack. Defeat the Vulcan Procus and the Valkyria. Use everything you've learned to beat this deadly duo.
Strategy[]
- Crymaria and the Vulcan act similar to Chapter 09: The Winter Witch, but have increased health. Take care in avoiding damage when possible.
- Crymaria's crystal uses the person damage, and takes about 250 damage to break. A high damage sniper can take it out from a safe range; the LF-ASR series is a good choice for the highest total damage while still maintaining good range. This will take only one burst to kill the crystal.
- Once broken, at the start of the next turn, it will reform dealing decent damage in an area around Crymaria. Utilize this to kill enemy troops; on the first turn, this mission's ace can be taken down.
- The Vulcan is practically immune to all non-radiator damage, and the radiator is blocked from grenadiers by the cannon. Utilize the high ground, destruction order, and multiple lancers for maximum damage.
- The ice can be destroyed with the Hafen's mortars to not waste the main ammo.
- Grenadiers around the map use anti-tank mortars. Ship orders are useful in taking them out.
Strategy 1: Grenedier + The Glory/Shocktropper
Since this is an endgame mission, you probably have your equipment maxed out by now. For the units, you want to deploy, have all your leader units, The Glory and an extra grenadier should be fine.
To start off the mission, disable Crymaria's staff by using Kai to hit the center of her staff. Then switch to the Hafen and shoot a smoke grenade at your starting camp, this will protect the base camp if you can't finish the mission in a single turn. Use Riley and have her shoot at the Vulcan. If Riley triggers her last potential, you can actually have an extra turn and save CP. If Riley runs out of ammo, switch to your backup grenadier. The Vulcan will probably require about 5 to 6 CP to be destroyed.
There is an enemy sniper on the bottom right corner of the map, this sniper here is actually an enemy ace. Defeating this ace will drop the ZM SG X (e) sniper rifle. There are several approaches you can do to take care of this guy. You can either snipe him with Kai or you can rely on the Ship Order, Bombardment and bomb the location of the sniper for an easy ace kill.
To finish Crymaria, you will need two perfect shots to the head with Raz for the kill. You can also try to use The Glory's machine gun as well, as they have better firepower compared to the regular shocktrooper's machinegun. This method of completing in a single turn might require some savescum (Saving and Reloading) to work. If nothing goes according to plan, you can finish this mission in the second turn, when you have your CP charged, as long as the Vulcan is gone, you shouldn't need to worry as much on your second turn. The smoke grenade should able to protect your infantry units from Crymaria.
Strategy 2: Powered Up Raz
As with the above strategy, for the set up have all of your leaders, with a Sniper (with the 3-shot weapon) and Raz up-front. Ensure that Hafen has the Smoke Bombs enabled, and that Raz has the 35-shot weapon (with as much power boost you can give him via accessories).
- Start off by using the Sniper to break Crymaria's staff.
- Using the Hafen, advance towards Crymaria, and targeting her use the Smoke Bomb as soon as you can.
- (Optional) Use a Ship Order (maxed out) to take out the Ace if his weapon is still required.
- Use the Penetration and Attack Weak Spot orders on Raz.
- Using Raz go straight upto Crymaria (may require two turns, however you can try shooting from afar - you'll have more than enough CP).
- Ensure you aim for her head - should normally take 1 to 2 turns to take down.
- Now move towards the Vulcan and use up all of your remaining CP to take him down.
