The Breath of Life is a post-game mission in Valkyria Chronicles 2. It is only available (and playable) during the months of April to June.

Briefing

Your mission is to dispatch enemies in Arlem, where the first buds of spring are appearing.

Defeat all enemy units in each area.

An augmented soldier thought to be General Dirk is also among the enemies there, so be careful.

Strategy

• Dirk will be in Area 4, and will patrol the area near the camp.
• Since you cannot deploy a tank in Area 4 to bait his position, you can use a fencer instead.
• Dirk is different from other V2s, as he only fires two beam shots at a time instead of 5.
