All these tanks have some kind of small, round objects on their turrets. They look like lamps or mirrors. What are those? |Arcius| 02:52, February 21, 2011 (UTC)

  • Soviet-style searchlight, see here for an example on a real tank. I imagine the painted front is a cover to protect the glass when the light isn't being used. Evil Tim 08:03, February 21, 2011 (UTC)

Another Question

Uhm... is there any article to VC2 tank equipments? I can't seem to find it....

You'd be looking for Type 36 or Armored Personnel Carriers. At present, there are not pages for the turrets and the variants of the hulls. RedShocktrooper 11:34, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
Tank equipment pages would be useful, I recommend splitting it into sections like Tank Flamethrowers (VC2), Anti-Tank Cannons (VC2) and so on. Same with the hulls, split them into Tank Hulls (VC2) and APC Hulls (VC2). I would also like tank equipment pages for VCIII, as I really want to know if captured turret A3 is actually outclassed by anything. Roebot56 13:56, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
There was talk of an article on tank parts awhile back but it was never made I think someone said that he would do it if he had unlocked all the parts in the game.Commissar88 17:51, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
I want to start a project for this for some time and now it might be a good time to do it. We already have an article called Tank Upgrades for VC1, I propose we rename it Tank Upgrades (VC1) to avoid confusion. And the main Tank Upgrade article for VC2 would naturally be Tank Upgrades (VC2) where overview of the system is written. This article will also link to more detailed articles about specific parts of the tank like Roebot said:
  • Tank Hulls (VC2) (I think APC hulls should also be merged here as there are only 8 type of hulls)
  • Tank Turrets (VC2) (we can further split this up if it's too long)
  • Tank Backpack and Shoulder Parts (VC2)
  • Tank Armors (VC2)
  • Tank Camouflage and Stickers (VC2)

Hmm, good one. I think I have data for some tank equipments in VC2. We just need the templates... and some parts are independent; they need no upgrade, they need only the part plans from enemy aces, like backpacks, armors, shoulder parts, and stickers + camo....
