Article names[]
I feel like the names are too long. Maybe we should rename them: Rifles (VC1), Rifles (VC2), etc. Potentials articles too, perhaps "Potentials (VC1)" would be better than "Potentials in Valkyria Chronicles" [Arcius] 13:21, July 29, 2011 (UTC)
Ruhm[]
I've removed the Ruhm from this article as it is a machinegun (all be it a very accurate and powerful one) and is treated as such in game (only shock troopers can equip it). Ecchi garr 13:25, July 29, 2011 (UTC)

13:29, July 29, 2011 (UTC) - Don't worry about it, i do remember a conversation at the time this page was made regarding whether it was a rifle or a machinegun because it could be equipped by shocktroopers but had the perameters of a rifle so in the end it was placed in both. I precised the reason why I mentionned the MAS 44 / 49 as inspiration for the Galian basic rifles. It was mentionned in the edit history last time but due to popular demand it's now in the main article. Fact is that the Gewehr 43 and MAS look very similar, but the general shape of the barrel as well as some details are typical of the MAS and can not be mistook with the Gewehr 43. I'm not a native English speaker though, so feel free to rephrase if my English is broken...
