Hans would not be three years old in 1937 and would probably only be turning two years old because he was just a young piglet when Squad Seven first found him. At most he couldn't be more than a few weeks old. I'm not entirely sure when wild pigs farrow, but I'd say whatever Sus Scrofa are like in the wild is probably a good bet for the Porcavians despite looking like domestic pigs for the cute factor. And now that I think about it, Hans might not have been more than a few days old at the time of discovery otherwise he'd have probably latched on to another sow in the group. Females from many species separate from the group for birthing and for several days until the offspring are old enough to rejoin the herd. 06:39, November 24, 2011 (UTC) - That's a very good insight Tikka and i totally agree with you, but the art book does state he is 1 year old in 1935 - i suspect the writers don't know as much about wild pigs as you do lol.

- It's simply based on common sense. Most wild animals in the Northern hemisphere have a birthing season between late April and June depending on when they're bred. From hints in the game like the "Writings on the Wall" the early war operation in Kloden happens in about this period. (I might as well ask if there is an official timeline of sorts in the artbook.) If Hans was approximately twelve months of age at the time they found him, all I can say is "ouch!" Now what may be the case is that a different system of counting was used. One where at birth one is considered to be at the age of one. I think that may be a more common way of counting out east, but I'm not sure. TikkaT3Fanatic
