The Starchild Festival is a major annual event in Hafen, taking place on July 15th in the middle of summer.
At dusk, children would rush up the bell tower, and the first five to reach the top would each ring the bell once. The children who rang the bell are allowed to wear a Starchild medal for a year until the next festival.
Adults gather in the city plaza to sing and dance until the break of dawn.
