Personality[]
As someone with an extremely gentle and mild personality who never panics in a critical situation, Roland is the mental pillar of the warship. He can also be strict, having once been feared as the “Demon Captain,” and is tough on both himself and others, letting out a sharp roar when necessary. [1]
Biography[]
Edinburgh navy captain, age 52. Captain of the Cygnus Fleet's snow cruiser, the Centurion. A veteran officer who has survived many battles at sea. Serene and mild-manner. Never loses his composure, even in the most dire circumstances, which helps keep morale up for the entire crew. He was once respected (and feared) as the "Captain from Hell," when he was a much stricter man. Even now, he can be harsh when the situation arises. His wife, son, and daughter were all lost to the war. Once, a ship under his command fell to the enemy, and he swore to never let it happen again. After the ceasefire, his injuries forced him to retire from the front lines. He now teaches officers-to-be as a naval academy instructor.
