Squad 7 is sent to stop an Imperial squad that is hunting Darcsens living in Gallia for use in slave labor, or simply to commit genocide. Although another squad had the mission, Rosie volunteers the squad in order to get revenge for the events of Chapter 11.
The area is large and open, with a number of rocks forming corridors near the center, and raised plateaus on both sides. There are also a fair amount of grassy patches to hide in. A great tree in the center of the map acts as a landmark.
- Road to Ironfield Village
- Wizenring Tree
Here is your mission brief
"We've got a fix on the location of the Imperial squad responsible for the Darcsen hunts. Your squad will take up position along their path. Once you see them, pounce. Wipe out the entire squad. Your objective is to neutralize every last Imperial soldier. Don't let any of them get away. If even one survives, it's only a matter of time before they find others and come back. Even one survivor will mean mission failure this time. You of all people should know these people must be stopped."
"If there are no questions, let's get started. I wish you good luck and happy hunting."
It is useful to bring flamethrower-equipped Shocktroopers in order to quickly kill the units hiding in the grass. They are equipped with status-inflicting weapons such as Attack Down SMGs, making it difficult to do any damage to them without first using a grenade or flamethrower.
Once enough units are killed, the rest of them will begin to flee through three exit points as indicated by the XXX borders on the north, south, and southwest of the map. This will cause them to get up from their hiding spots and become easy pickings for any Snipers on your squad. Scout and Engineer rifle interception fire can keep them from running too far. Be wary of enemies attempting to rush your base camp as well.
If an enemy soldier reaches the exit, you have one turn to kill them before they escape.
Fujmolt the Edge is located in a patch of grass to the north of the starting area, across the plateau. He drops the game's most powerful handheld flamethrower against infantry, the VB FW 2(g).
|Enemy Ace Reward|
After wiping out the Imperials, Rosie comes upon an orphaned Darcsen boy. She encourages him to help change the world following Isara's example, and he decides to become a doctor.
Rosie also gains the potential "Song of Peace" upon completion of the mission. It works similarly to Darcsen Bond and represents the ultimate heel-face turn in her feelings about Darcsens.
