Ramal Valt (ラマル・ヴァル, Ramaru Varuto^?) is a shocktrooper of Squad 1, 3rd militia regiment.

Ramal makes an appearance in Valkyria Chronicles 2 as a recruitable, hidden character, but this only occurs in the Japanese version of the game. He was completely localized, but cannot be accessed due to licensing issues. A considerable hint at this is that Isara's "Likes" list, in Japan, has both Welkin and Ramal, but in the Western version only has Welkin.

Valkyria Chronicles Anime

Ramal is Faldio's extremely loyal and protective subordinate in the Valkyria Chronicles Anime. He is initially distrustful of Squad 7, citing their carefree behavior as nothing more than letting success get to their heads. He is shown to have a crush on Isara, but repeatedly denies it early on out of embarrassment. On the Feast of All Spirits, he gave Isara a necklace. He was extremely distraught upon learning of Isara's death. In the 20th episode of the anime, he is among the many Squads and individuals initially wiped out by Selvaria Bles at Naggiar Plains, prior to Squad 7's arrival.

In the English subtitled Anime, Ramal's name is romanized as "Lamar."
