Mintz (ミンツ, Mintz^?) is a Darcsen orphan and an engineer in the Gallian army from the manga, Valkyria Chronicles: Wish Your Smile.

He makes a cameo in Valkyria Chronicles 2 as a playable character.

Profile

Mintz lost his family from an explosion that leveled their home at a very young age and was an orphan for as long as he could remember. As a Darcsen, he faced constant persecution, but was able to overcome this hardship and join the Militia to fight for his homeland. It was there that he befriended Julius Klotz. Mintz reminded Julius of his lost brother, enabling him to befriend the Darcsen boy.

• He is a hidden recruitable soldier in "Valkyria Chronicles 2", but only in the Japanese version of the game. Both Mintz and Julius Klotz exist in playable form within the game's files, and both have voice files in English, but they have not been released due to licensing issues.
