Killstreak Meier (百殺のミィヤ hyaku ya no mīya?) is a Sniper Ace found in Valkyria Chronicles 4. He appears in the Squad Story mission Worlds Apart, in the battle mission Paths to Glory.
Gameplay[]
Meier is visible at the start of the mission, in the area to the left of the starting area for the two Shocktroopers and with a line of sight to Gertrude Albright's starting position. A Grenadier facing in the same direction is right next to him.
Since this mission's allied base camp does not allow reinforcements to be deployed, there is not much choice but to send either Zaiga or Vancey Fioré over to deal with him while the other sets about blowing up the Ragna-Crates next to the two bunkers directly above their starting location. Since he is facing towards Gertrude, this is very easy to do. If the player has upgraded their Shocktroopers to Elite (level 11+), they can easily kill Meier and the Grenadier in one sweep of the Shocktrooper's flamethrower.
If he is not killed before the Imperial turn and Gertrude has hidden in the grass, he will usually move over to the nearby sandbags. Despite that recruiting Gertrude requires the player have at least 1,000,000 unspent, it is a surprisingly low-level mission and Meier is not even an Elite, so he will not turn to face a unit moving behind him.
Killing Meier is actually mandatory, since the mission objective is to kill all enemies.
Stats and equipment[]
Has 10 total defense.

Reward[]
Defeating him rewards the player with a ZM SG 3(e), a mid-level Imperial sniper rifle. It is just as accurate as his version and deals very slightly more damage, at the cost of decreased range.
Like all captured Imperial sniper rifles, it trades range and accuracy for greater vs Pers hitting power: this is of limited practical use since a Sniper will typically be aiming for headshots anyway.
Note: intercept fire is only available for Sniper Elites (level 11 and above), this stat will not appear before then.
Equipment | Aim | Range | vs Pers | vs Armor | Shots | Ammo | Area | Effect |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
ZM SG 3(e) | C | 600 | 164 | 70 | 1 | 3 | X | - |
Intercept Fire | D+ | 500 | 100 | 50 | 1 | ∞ | X | - |
Trivia[]
- His Japanese title is more along the lines of "One Hundred Killer."
- The model for the ZM SG 3(e) is also used for the ZM SG XD(e).
