Aftermath

After the mission, Avan and Heinz have a brief moment to celebrate before being confronted by a rebel. This rebel holds them at gunpoint, and states that they have a dozen Darcsen hostages. And if they do anything funny, they will die. The rebel first demands that they send out their leader unarmed, and that they have a minute to do so, otherwise Darcsens will die. Avan, having defeated plots, surrenders and moves to their designated location. After being searched for concealed weapons, Avan pleas that the villagers be set free. But the rebel denies him, with his second demand: All of Avan's infantry to hand their weapons over. Zeri interrupts him, turning the tables on the rebel as they have rescued the villagers. The rebel, surprised, surrenders. Avan is relieved that he is saved by Zeri, as the shocktrooper team just happened to be nearby.

Heinz appears before Avan, stating he must be more careful to prevent himself from getting into any more daunting situations. Avan reassures him that everyone's okay, and that they should head back soon to practice for their Butler Tournament. Heinz tells Avan that there is no need for the tournament, as he has found "a worthy master to serve." He is reminded of his previous master when Avan sacrifices himself for others, and that he wishes to serve Avan. Avan denies him, as he views Heinz as his equal.

Notes/Trivia

The "master for life" potential is awakened in Heinz. Avan becomes closer with Heinz.
