Escape from a Dire Situation is the third expert skirmish of Valkyria Chronicles 4's Expert Skirmishes DLC. This uses the same map as Chapter 08: The Crystal Sea, Part 2. It is unlocked after the main story has been completed.

Briefing

Location: Village

Description: Break through the enemy's formation. Move any ally to the goal to win.

Strategy

• As only 3 units can be deployed, utilizing the Demolition Boost order will be more effective than bringing a Lancer or Grenadier. Sending two engineers to the escape to utilize revival ragnaid on each other is possible, but will require sacrificing one leader slot.
• Utilize ship commands to take out Grenadiers and clear the way.
• The Imperials start with 7 CP. The locations of the leaders are:
  • Troopers: One behind the second Assault Tank, crouched under a cover. Another is directly to the left of the first mounted gun, crouched behind sandbags.
  • Grenadier: Top right of the map.
  • Assault Tank: Above the spawn area.
