Mission Briefing

Scouts in Leanbluff Forest say a large rebel force is advancing toward the academy.

Class G must defend the allied base camp in area 5 for 8 turns.

Other classes are still away on maneuvers, and so cannot help. Buy time until the other classes return.

Avan and Jugin must deploy.

Strategy

• If your tank is strong enough, you can leave the middle base camp of Area 5 with no defense. This is because if the enemy captures the middle base camp, they will get caught by the tank's interception fire.
• The enemy will be relatively close to the base camps in each area, so you do not need to go hunting that far.

Aftermath

After the battle, the rebels are seen retreating. Avan takes this opportunity to thank Jugin for his hard work, but is interrupted by Jugin himself. He states that he does not deserve any praise from his classmates, especially Avan, as he believes he has sacrificed Leon. He goes on about how he was also a candidate of Project Valhalla with Leon, and that he ran away as he was scared of the outcomes. Jugin sought Leon's guidance, but Leon told him not to worry as he smiled back. Avan consoles Jugin by stating that he knew Leon had no regrets with taking on the mission. As Avan talks about the letters, and how Leon never seemed unwilling to continue the mission at any given point, the letters keep mentioning a "friend." A "friend" that he could trust with his life, and could defend Gallia with him forever. With the thought of having a best friend to the very end, Jugin finally moves on.
