Story

Lotte approaches Avan and informs him of a rare rabbit at Diebal Mountains. As Chloe runs into Lotte, Avan believes that this rabbit will help Chloe with her "Artist's block." Conveniently enough, there is a mission in the Diebal Mountains, so Avan drags Chloe to the mission.

Mission Briefing

"Rebel forces have been garrisoned in the Diebal Mountains. Defeat all enemy units within 5 turns by launching a surprise attack from the rear. This mission must be handled by Avan and Chloe alone, as they patrol the area."

Aftermath

After the mission, Avan and Chloe laments over the fact that they still cannot find the alleged rabbit. Chloe wishes to stop searching for it, but Avan keeps pushing Chloe to continue, and that it is "a subject worth painting." Chloe begins to question Avan's dedication, as the result doesn't affect Avan whatsoever. Avan replies with the fact that he wishes to have another try at understanding Chloe's paintings. The painting may still confuse Avan with its profuse meaning, but he'll still try to understand it. He wants to see "the real deal." But Chloe hasn't painted something "real" in a while, as she had been painting war scene after war scene. As a result of painting all those war scenes, she lost track of her voice. So the reason behind Chloe's motivation is the fact that she had found "something worth painting." And that is none other than Avan Hardins himself.

Back at Lanseal, Chloe starts to paint a portrait of Avan. Avan starts cramping up due to posing so long, but Chloe reassures him that this portrait will be "the real deal."

• The "creative urge" potential replaces the "slump" potential in Chloe.
