Today is great news for us fans of Valkyria Chronicles: we are finally going to finish translating Valkyria Chronicles 3: Unrecorded Chronicles.
After an extensive amount of work, fellow Gallian Kaina Summers has announced the beginning of her project to finish and polish the translation left incomplete by the VC3 Translation Project.
DLC? You bet that's being translated!
Egregious grammar errors? Gone.
The return of our maligned heroes? Of course!
We're presenting VC3 to the West as it should've been all those years ago, and we would love to have everyone onboard!

Valkryia Chronicles E3 News
At E3 2018, Sega has released a trailer for the English localized version of Valkyria Chronicles 4. The trailer went over the various gameplay mechanics, including the usage of Action and Command Modes, in addition to showing off the new Grenadier class, and a roaster of 50+ characters to add to your unit.
In addition, a special "Memoirs from Battle Premium Edition" has been listed for purchase at $99.99 USD. This includes a collector's box, a 100-page artbook modeled after Claude Wallace's journal, a vinyl statue of the Hafen tank, and the special Squad 7 Missions with characters from the original Valkyria Chronicles.
Valkyria Chronicles if set to be released worldwide in the Fall of 2018.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 announced for 2018 release
Sega has announced Valkyria Chronicles 4 for the PS4, Xbox One and Switch platforms due for release in the Americas, Europe and Japan in 2018.
In Japan, the standard edition of Valkyria Chronicles 4 for PlayStation 4 will cost 7,990 yen and a “10th Anniversary Memorial Pack” limited edition will cost 12,990 yen. Here are the details on the limited edition and first-print purchase bonus.
Valkyria Revolution Available Now
Valkyria Revolution is now available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and digitally on Playstation Vita.
This spin-off to the well-known Valkyria Chronicles series should give players the setting of the original titles, while provide new gameplay.
In addition, Four DLC Packs are set to be released for free following the launch, featuring the Circle of Five, Vanargand, Princess Ophelia, Valkyria Brunhilde, and much more.
Five DLC packs for Valkyria Revolution will be free. These packs add more to the story and gameplay of Revolution.

Valkyria Azure Revolution Characters, and voice cast
Valkyria Azure Revoultion has their own cast of characters. A lot of them comes from the Vanargand, the Anti-Valkyria Unit under Amleth. However, their are also other characthers in Jutland and the Rus Empire that have been revealed.

Valkyria: Azure Revolution - LeGION Battle System
Valkyria: Azure Revolution is about to be released. But remember that this is a spinoff game, where the gameplay differs from the main games.
Here are two videos pertaining to the system, the first was a look at the LeGION in game.
Unlike the BLiTZ System in the previous games, Revolution uses the LeGION system, where it mixes both free action and deploying special equipment when time pauses.
In addition, you can roam around the Kingdom of Jutland, and visit the Sabanci & Co. factory, owned by someone from the "Circle of Five"... There you can upgrade weapons, Raganite, and special magical weapons to use in battle.

Valkyria Chronicles and World of Tank Blitz collaboration

In a Tokyo Game Show related announcement , Wargaming has announced that it has teamed up with Sega to include Valkyria Chronicles in the mobile tank action game, World of Tanks Blitz.
The trailer featured shows two tanks from the series in the game itself, the Edelweiss from the original Valkyria Chronicles and the Nameless Tank from Valkyria Chronicles 3.

Valkyria: Azure Revolution's Battle Demo Ver. 2.0
Valkyria: Azure Revolution will recieve an updated Demo version for players to try. This updated demo will address some of the feedback made by testers of the Battle Demo Ver. 1.0.

In another article posted by Gematsu , people who have own the Battle Demo Ver. 1.0 automatically get the 2.0 version when it is released. Those who do not own it can retrieve a PS4 product code for it at Tokyo Game Show 2016.
Valkyria: Azure Revolution coming to PS Vita and PS4 in January, 2017
In a video teaser of Valkyria: Azure Revolution, the trailer reveals that the game will be released in Japan on January 19th, 2017.
The video also lists that a Playstation Vita version is being developed alongside the PS4 and will be released on the same day.
From an article from Gematsu, preordering Azure Revolution from the website will provide you with a "fully-voiced additonal story" to download on launch day.
New template for VC2 turret stats.
I've been working on template to replace in Anti-armor Turret (VC2), Mortar Turret (VC2) and etc.
uses images of weapon data, instead of allowing just enter stats like in Machine Guns (VC2), Pistols (VC2) and etc. So, I hope nobody will argue why its need replacement.

Valkyria: Azure Revolution Announced for the PS4 alongside Valkyria Chronicles HD Remaster
According to Gematsu, a new entry for the Valkyria Chronicles series under the title "Valkyria: Azure Revolution" has been announced for the PlayStation 4. An HD remaster of Valkyria Chronicles is set for upcoming release on the PlayStation 4.
Although the game retains similar elements from the Valkyria Chronicles series, it has been intended to be considered a new experience entirely.
Sega of Japan Trademarks "Valkyria: Azure Revolution"
Following the trademark filed by Sega Games in Japan for "Aoki Kakumei no Valkyria" (translated by a couple of outlets as "Valkyria of the Blue Revolution"), on November 3rd they added a trademark for an apparent english translation: Valkyria: Azure Revolution.
While presently nothing is known beyond the name, it seems fairly certain that Sega intends to bring the title westward, or at least outside the Japanese isles.

Sega shutters Valkyria Chronicles Duel
According to Destructoid, Sega and NHN corporation are terminating the service for browser/mobile game Valkyria Chronicles Duel.
The company has already discontinued sales of its virtual currency and will shutter its service on April 22.
Valkyria Chronicles Duel was initially released on July 26, 2012 in Japan.

Which main antagonist is the most better, so to speak?
I've only noticed the series for only about a week or so, and so far it looks good. At least from the videos and such I've read and watched. As from what I've gathered from each piece of fictional franchise, there are characters who don't contribute much and there are those who contribute to their universal settings in their own way whether it's charismatic, despicable, or eccentric. Anyway, this blog's about which main antagonist gives the series a good amount of credit.

Noticed reletively recently, the Pan-European Games Information site has listed a PC port of Valkyria Chronicles.

Operation Rainfall Poll Could Lead to VCIII English Localization
A new poll by Operation Rainfall could lead to the localization of Valkyria Chronicles III.
Operation Rainfall is known for having some success at getting Japanese games translated to English, among those, according to Sega Addicts, Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower.
At the present, other games competing against it include Yakuza 5, a Yakuza HD remake, and Shining Hearts. While at the time of posting Valkyria Chronicles dominates the later two, Yakuza 5 leads VCIII by an 8% margin.
Operation Rainfall has also partnered up with Language Automation Inc (LAI), a company that specializes in games. LAI will likely offer a discount on localization for any that might be pitched.

Characters from Valkyria Chronicles will be joining the cast of Samurai & Dragons for the Playstation Vita.

Project x Zone Confirmed For The West
The 3DS game Project X Zone has had it's western release confirmed by Namco Bandai and has been given a provisional release date of "Summer 2013" for US and EU territories with a further release in AU territories later that year.
Various characters from the Valkyria Chronicles series make an appearance in the game including Kurt Irving, Riela Marcellis & Imca from Valkyria Chronicles 3 and fan favourite Selvaria Bles.

Gallian Liberation Front's recent change of strategy
As you may already know, SEGA is going through a difficult time, having lost 7.1 billion yen (~ $90 million) and have to restructure SEGA America and SEGA Europe. In light of this, the Gallian Liberation Front has shifted their strategy from mailing campaign to SEGA, to targeting 3rd-party publishers such as XSeed and Atlus, persuading them to localize Valkyria Chronicles 3. To do this, the GLF will send these publishers a package containing:
- Formal letter from the Gallian Liberation Front.
- Copy of Valkyria Chronicles 3 E2.
- Hi-res printouts of artwork from the game.
- Printed articles emphasizing the hype for the localization of this game.

Well guess what? We now have an awesome Timeline for all the major events in Valkyria Chronicles series. Unfortunately, the disadvantage this timeline is it was created using Dipity and then embedded on our wiki. So there is no easy way to edit it without having to make an account on Dipity.

The idea behind using Eleanor, Hubert and Ramsey as portrait characters for these tags is they are the commanding officer/mentor of each game who often giving out advices to players, thus in this case, giving out warnings.
Currently, the spoiler alerts only cover major spoilers, so stuff like "Sigrid Eissel will join Lanseal" doesn't count.
